Frequently asked questions
Is CollectZe a lending app?
No. CollectZe is record-keeping software for finance companies that already lend. No money moves through CollectZe — it records what your collectors receive and keeps every borrower’s balance up to date.
Is it free to start?
Yes. The Free plan gives you one book, two team members and up to 25 borrowers, with no time limit. Move to a paid plan when you need more books or more staff.
Can I bring in the register I already keep in Excel?
Yes. Upload the Excel or CSV file, match the columns once, review what will be created, and commit. Nothing is written until you confirm.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Every report exports to CSV, and you can back up an entire book to your own Google Drive at any time. Your borrowers are your data.
Does it work without internet?
CollectZe needs a connection to record a payment, so that two collectors can never overwrite each other. On a slow network it stays responsive; offline recording is on the roadmap.
What happens if a collector records a wrong amount?
The payment is cancelled with a reason and a fresh one is recorded. Nothing is ever deleted, so your totals and your activity log always agree.
Who can see what?
You decide. Each person has a role (Owner, Admin, Staff or Viewer) and access to specific books. A collector sees the borrowers in their books and nothing about billing, team or other books.
Where is my data stored?
Securely in the cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each company’s data is kept fully separate, so one company can never see another’s.
Which phones does it run on?
Android and iOS. Store listings are coming soon; leave your details on the contact page and we will let you know the day it is available.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings → Profile in the app, or by emailing [email protected] from your registered address. See the Delete your account page for what is removed and what the company owner keeps.
