CollectZe is an independent app for finance companies that collect payments in person. These are the terms for using the CollectZe app and website. By creating a company in CollectZe, or joining one with an invite code, you agree to them — for yourself and, if you are the Owner, for your company. See also the Privacy Policy.
1. What CollectZe is
CollectZe is record-keeping software. It keeps your loan books, borrowers, due dates and the payments your team records.
CollectZe is not a lender, a bank or a payment service. No money moves through CollectZe. Interest, penalty and instalment figures come from the settings you choose — please check them.
2. Your account and team
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for what is done under your number.
- Each company has one Owner, who controls billing, roles and deletion. The Owner adds Admins, Staff and Viewers and decides which books each person can see.
- You are responsible for the people you invite. Remove anyone who leaves.
- You must be 18 or older and use CollectZe for a business.
3. Your data
- Everything your company enters — borrowers, loans, payments — belongs to your company. It is only used to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for having the right to record your borrowers' details and for telling them how the information is used.
- You can export your data at any time, back up any book to your own Google Drive, and delete your account or company yourself. See Delete your account.
- Payments are cancelled, never deleted, so your records stay complete.
4. Plans and payment
- The Free plan is free for as long as you use it, within its limits.
- Paid plans and prices will be published before billing opens. Nothing is charged until you choose a paid plan.
- If you reach a plan limit, everything you already have keeps working; you cannot add more until you upgrade.
- If a paid plan ends, your company returns to the Free plan's limits. Extra data is kept read-only for 90 days so you can export or renew.
5. Fair use
Do not use CollectZe to break the law, harass borrowers, store data you have no right to hold, or interfere with the service. Accounts that do may be suspended.
6. Availability and support
CollectZe aims to be available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Features may be improved or changed with reasonable notice. Support is by email at [email protected].
7. Responsibility
CollectZe is provided "as is". It is not responsible for losses that come from decisions made using figures in the app, or for indirect or consequential losses. Total liability to your company in any twelve months is limited to the fees your company paid in that period. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using CollectZe at any time; the Owner can delete the company from Settings. CollectZe may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if these terms are seriously broken.
9. Changes
Changes are posted here with the date above. For important changes you will be told in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
